The spring 09 Cal trip was great this time out. The waves were good , the crowds were great and the singing was not bad either. We want to thank the WSGMA for the honorary membership into a great organization. I was thrilled. The run to Philly was fun to but it's a bit of a blur now. We did get to hang out with the Old Couriers. It's been a while since we saw them.

We spent the last several days in TN in and around Gatlinburg. We did stop to see the new plaques at the S Gospel Music Hall Of Fame. We spent a few days with Tim & Mary Alice Lovelace at their home. Tim and I took Code-E out and taught him how to drive a stick shift in Tim's Jeep. To give you an idea of how it went, Tim was laughing the whole time( and he is a comedian ) Ask Code-E how his foot feels.

We found ourselves with about a week between dates now so we decided NOT to drive home and then back to Canada. It was a difference of 2200 miles. Its really hot out here. The bus is running good and we are all fine. I had my 3rd Fathers Day and my 48th Birthday all in the same week.

We are heading up I-75 real slow. I have a few days to go 500 more miles We are leaving the country on the 4th of July. ( we did not plan that one ) But we will be just over the river. ( My 33rd year in the Weatherfords )

See You Soon.
